This CD-ROM includes the entire four-volume Butler's Lives of the Saints plus A History of Christianity by Paul Johnson, Saints and Heroes Speak by Fr. Robert J. Fox, meditations/devotionals, and cross references through a calendar, lists of patron saints, popular saints, historical figures, an historical timeline, and numerous indexes.

The Butler's Lives volumes feature brief, easy-to-read biographical sketches. Unlike Butler's volumes, Saints and Heroes Speak is not organized according to the calendar, but, instead, features lengthier biographies on fewer, selected saints. Told in first person style, each is followed by discussion questions and an activity suggestion. 

A History of Christianity is loaded with information, but the reading level might be challenging for some teens. Background music and occasional illustrations add multi-sensory appeal. This program is very useful for both devotions and research.

This CD runs on either Windows or Macintosh systems.
