All homeschoolers need to know about the Homeschool Buyers Co-op. The Co-op is not just another distributor of homeschool resources.
Founded and operated by homeschoolers, the Homeschool Buyers Co-op uses its purchasing power to get its members super low prices for homeschool curriculum, including many of my Top Picks. Often they will offer group buys where the amount of the discount increases as the number of purchasers increases. Resources available through the Co-op frequently change, so you should check back often. Some examples of current products being offered at amazing prices are Math Mammoth, Time4Learning, IXL Math, and Type to Learn.
Amazingly, membership in the Homeschool Buyers Co-op is free! Membership also qualifies you for lots of benefits, including free SmartPoints that can be used to purchase curriculum. Ordinarily, you get 100 SmartPoints when you join, but enter CATHY in the Referral Code space on their sign up form, and you'll get 500 FREE SmartPoints, which are enough to purchase a number of products in their SmartPoints Vendor Hall.
In addition, the Homeschool Buyers Co-op offers many other free resources that you really need to check out. Some of these are available to all, although the Summer Fun Reading Program and Classified Ads are for members only. Below are some examples.
Free Curriculum: The Co-op has a Free Homeschool Curriculum page where you can search through their database of free online homeschool curriculum and resources.

The Field Trip Finder is very easy to use and has a large data base.
