Teaching Tape Technology-Saxon Math [DVDs]

Teaching Tape Technology-Saxon Math [DVDs]

Teaching Tape Technology presents Saxon'supper level math texts (Math 54 and up) on a series of two-hour DVDs created especially for small Christian schools and homeschools but useful in a broad range of settings.

Teacher Page Singleton presents each lesson following the book's format, using sample and practice problems directly from the text. She works each problem step-by-step. At the end of each lesson she directs students to complete all of the problems in the text. She presents the lessons very clearly but with no digressions or enhancements.

Having a video instructor will make the Saxon texts much more usable for students who prefer "being taught" to working independently through the lessons. DVDs are resalable, so you can easily recoup part of your investment. Or you might consider sharing the cost and the DVD's with another family or two, watching the DVD's together or adjusting your schedules so that one student completes the first tape before the next student is ready to begin.

(Note: Teaching Tape Technology is not a part of Saxon Math and these are not official Saxon productions. However, you can now purchase bundles of Saxon Home Study Kits and Teaching TapeDVD's.)
