HotHouse Transplants is a compilation (compiled by my son, Matt) of stories written by Christian home schoolers who have graduated and moved on to college and careers. The focus in many of the stories is on the question, “How is your life different in terms of purpose and direction as a result of homeschooling?” This is an encouraging book to read for parents who wonder if home schooling through high school is worth the effort. It’s a good book for teens, too, since those who shared their stories are very realistic about the pros and cons of home schooling.
