Wanda Sanseri has developed this comprehensive reading and language arts program from Romalda Spalding's original book The Writing Road to Reading. Wanda has made the methodology much simpler to understand and apply.

Phonics/reading, spelling, and writing are taught simultaneously in this program with an intensive phonics approach. While the language coverage is comprehensive for the early grades (first four years of instruction), it also serves as a spelling curriculum through all grade levels.

One of the distinctives of this program is that it identifies and teaches many more phonics rules than do other programs. It also requires students to do more writing than is typical of other programs.
