Astronomy and the Bible: Questions and Answers, 2nd editionby Donald B. DeYoungBaker Book HouseA good reference book for families, Astronomy and the Bible gives simple, sensible answers to basic astronomy questions from the viewpoint of a literal Bible interpretation. Many times definite answers cannot be given, so various proposed theories are presented. There are about 170 pages, packed full with information, plus a glossary and a list of other suggested resources for further study. It is divided into six main sections: the earth and moon, the solar system, the stars, galaxies and the universe, general science, and technical terms and ideas. I appreciate the fact DeYoung has included an index so that we can quickly locate specific topics. This is quite a thought provoking book, appropriate for ages ten and up, but especially good for high school level. (Reviewed by Valerie Thorpe and Cathy Duffy)
