Brain Teasers

Brain Teasers

This is a series of six reproducible books for grades 1-6. Each features a variety of thinking skill activities appropriate for that grade level.

The first grade book has dot-to-dots, word searches, mazes, codes, scrambled letters, identification, matching, simple logic, visual puzzles, antonyms, and more.

More-challenging activities are added at each level such as completing clichés, "making a list of things with holes," analogies, logic grid puzzles, research trivia, and acrostics. By sixth grade, students are challenged to name the individuals who originated famous quotations, connect inventors with their inventions and geographic sites with their countries, create rhymes, solve riddles, and brainstorm word lists.

Students will need to go look up some information for some of these, especially at the higher levels. Answer keys are included within each book.
