Moneywise Kids

Moneywise Kids

Children can apply math their math skills by using play money to handle a typical family budget including such items as food, housing, taxes, and medical care. The game doesn't include tithing or charitable giving. Children exchange small bills for larger, make change, and learn to count by multiples of 5, 10, 20, and 50. On the back of one of the playing boards are ideas for parents to discuss budget items with children in more detail. Although the game is suggested for ages 7 and up, I expect that many younger children will also be able to play. Only two can play at a time.
