Kinder-Math includes a workbook and teacher's manual, flashcards, simple games, and clock board. (Time telling and addition may be introduced too early for some children.) Large print and interesting presentations through games and activities favorably impressed me. Concepts covered are number recognition and formation, simple addition, counting, time telling, larger than/smaller than, and simple geometry.
Visual aids need to be printed on tag board for a clock, coins, counting chart, number cards, and domino patterns. Since children are usually fascinated by money, coins are used for many activities. Counting is emphasized. Children learn to add numbers up to ten, but because of their familiarity with other numbers from counting, they also add small numbers to large, e.g., 85 + 2.
Kinder-Math is included with the Alphabet Island Complete Phonics program at no extra cost, but it can also be purchased separately. The teacher's manual is available only as a digital file while the student workbook is only available as a print book. Extra student workbooks are available if you have more than one student.
