Analogies

Analogies 1, 2 and 3

Educators Publishing Service offers three analogy workbooks for grades 7-12. Analogies 1 gives strategies for solving the various types of analogy problems usually found in standardized testing, practice problems, and a glossary of the harder vocabulary words. It is suggested for grades 7-8.

Books 2 and 3 review the problem solving techniques and provide further practice and harder vocabulary words and are suggested for use with grades 9-10 and 11-12 respectively.

While these books will help student do better on standardized tests, they also help them become more analytical and thoughtful in their use of words. Answer keys are included within each book.

The three companion Vocabulary and Analogy Quiz booklets correlate with the content of their corresponding Analogies book. There are 12 quizzes per book, some only on vocabulary, some only on analogies. These reinforce learning in the original book and provide practice in standardized test format.
