French Copywork books

French Copywork books

French Copywork books are a great way to reinforce learning the French language. Galadriel Grace has created three versions of the same copywork book in three handwriting styles: traditional cursive, French cursive (more ornate than traditional cursive and with no slant), and slant print (D’Nealian). All books are available in either PDF or print format.

These 80-page books help students practice both basic and specialized vocabulary. They include the words for numbers, ordinal numbers, weather, family members, greetings and salutations, calendar words, common words and phrases (e.g., “How are you?”, “Good afternoon,” and “Thank you.”), crossword puzzles, word searches, The Lord’s Prayer, the Glory to the Father prayer, and two Christmas carols. Christian content is reflected only in the prayers and carols.

An answer key at the front of each PDF shows completed puzzles and word searches. For the print books, the answer key is provided for free in a separate downloadable file, so there's no concern about students having access to it.

Pages can be reprinted for members of one homeschooling family, making this a very inexpensive way to supplement your family’s study of the French language.
