D'Nealian Handwriting

D'Nealian Handwriting

ScottForesman offers their own slant print handwriting program called D'Nealian. D'Nealian teaches a slanted form of printing that makes the transition to cursive simpler.

This series begins with slant print for students in pre-kindergarten through first grade. Cursive is introduced in second grade then practiced up through sixth-grade.

Colorful workbooks make it appealing to children. You should be able to work with only the student workbooks in most cases. The expensive teacher's editions have reproductions of student pages, lesson presentation outlines, and supplemental activity pages.

Contact Pearson for information on ordering Teacher Editions if you need them. Older editions of these courses will work just as well as newer ones.
