The purpose of this book is to encourage young girls with the message that science is not just a "guy thing." It conveys the message through sketches about women scientists, their discoveries, and their work. Women were "...selected on the basis of the creativity and conceptual innovation of their work." A puzzle follows each sketch. Puzzles are a variety of word and letter games such as crosswords and codes. Suggested for grades 4-8.
