American Science and Surplus has a lot of surplus science-type items at fantastically low prices. However, stock changes constantly, and you never know what they have from month to month. Catalogs are published about six times a year and provide detailed descriptions of their weird and variable products. They usually have motors, mechanical and electrical devices, educational science kits, and books; supplies for teaching, art activities, offices, and hobbies; plus many other items that defy classification (e.g., diagonal mirrors for telescopes, dental tools, foldup stereo optic viewers, and bicycle seats). Some of these items should suggest science projects to the invention-minded.
